At Amiy, we believe the skin you see is shaped by what's happening inside. So we made skin care you take, not just skin care you apply.

Most skin routines stop at the surface. Cleansers, serums and creams do a lot, but many everyday skin concerns are linked to what's going on inside: busy, demanding days, your monthly cycle, gut balance and the pace of modern life.

Amiy was born from a simple question: what if skin care started from within? We turned to generations of Ayurvedic tradition, the herbs of the Himalayan foothills, and modern formulation to create a range of skin supplements in the form of easy oral drops.

The result is a daily ritual that takes less than a minute and works alongside the routine you already love.

After graduating from Manchester Business School, Ashmita built her career in one of India’s most dynamic industries: Skincare & Beauty. Over almost a decade, she worked with more than 1,000 brands during her time at Nykaa and Hindustan Unilever (HUL).

Across thousands of products and campaigns, she noticed a pattern. The industry was almost entirely focused on what to apply on the skin: serums, creams, masks, and treatments. Very few brands asked why skin concerns appeared in the first place. Breakouts, dullness, pigmentation, and early signs of aging were being treated as surface-level problems, while the internal factors behind them, such as nutrition, gut health, and overall wellbeing, went largely ignored.

That gap became the foundation of Amiy.

The name comes from Sanskrit, where Amiy means nectar, the elixir of life. It reflects Ashmita’s belief that real skin health is nourished from within, and that true beauty is a visible sign of what is happening inside the body.

When I started Amiy, I made myself one promise: to build the kind of brand I had always wished existed.

That meant formulas I would happily take myself, ingredients chosen with care, and honesty about what a product can and can't do. No overnight miracles, no exaggerated claims. Just consistent care, made to fit into a real, busy life.
